| Race Summary |
|---|
IN ALL DIRECTIONS, held up off the inside from well out of striking distance
early, angled to the rail entering the turn commencing a steady advance, shifted
off the inside in upper stretch while producing a sustained response, split foes
three deep nearing the sixteenth marker to challenge for command and wrested
command in time under firm encouragement. BIG REWARD tracked the leaders
unhurried while making his way to the rail in the opening stages racing just off
the second flight, steadily gained momentum nearing upper stretch, shifted out
to advance four deep between rivals racing through the stretch but was outkicked
by the winner. FULLCOURTPRESSURE was urged to the fore along the inside from the
break, moved well clear racing into upper stretch but failed to sustain his
momentum. SENATOR DAVE shifted off the inside early to track off the second
flight between foes racing into the bend, angled out five wide racing through
the stretch and finished willingly. COME ON MAN tracked just off and outside the
first flight under some reserve racing to the turn, made a steady, four wide
advance on the bend to challenge the pacesetter after a half but flattened out
in upper stretch. MY FEVER, bumped by LAKE POSSE in the opening furlong while
gaining a position between foes in the second flight, angled to the inside
racing through the turn while making some brief progress but lacked the needed
closing response. INDIAN PROPHET settled off the second flight while caught six
wide in the opening stages and offered no rally while gaining some position
racing into the stretch. THERE'S NO TELLING raced in some close quarters in the
opening stages while gaining a position outside foes in the second flight, was
urged along between foes racing into the turn to gain brief contention but
steadily retreated after a half. TOP NOTCH BUDDY, prominent three deep from the
outset, chased the pacesetter in that path into the bend and steadily faded
nearing upper stretch. RAP ON FELIX was outpaced early. EXPLICIT LEASE tracked
the leaders three deep behind the second flight racing to the turn but never
mounted a serious challenge. LAKE POSSE, urged between foes chasing the pace
while bumping MY FEVER in the opening furlong, was spent early and drifted wide
into the stretch.
